The Senoia Optimist Club presents three $1,500.00 scholarships each year to graduating seniors from both East Coweta High School and Northgate High, both in Sharpsburg, GA.
The Senoia Optimist Club Scholarship is presented to a graduating senior at Northgate High School. It is intended to help with tuition costs in any career the student chooses, especially where the need for financial help is substantial, and the motivation to finish the program is strong.

Senoia Optimist Club Scholarship Winner 2024
Jean Cotton presented the Senoia Optimist Club Scholarship to Annabelle Witt, the future world traveler and psychologist.
Scholarship application forms are sent to each high school Guidance Department at the beginning of January and are posted on the school’s scholarship website. Applications must be completed and returned to the Counselors’ Office by the end of March to allow time for evaluation. Scholarships are awarded at each school’s Scholarship Awards Program in late April or early May.
