Senoia Rotary Club Partnered Community Project

Guest Speaker: Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Members of the Senoia Optimist Club visited the Senoia Rotary Club Monday night, September 9, as they partnered in a community project. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a local nonprofit that raises funds to build and deliver twin bed frames for needy children and youth in the Fayette and Coweta communities, among others. Senoia Optimists and Rotarians donated a truck load of new twin bed sheets, comforters, and pillows – items that are always in short supply after a bed build. Jack and Mary Bennett, co-presidents of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, were at the meeting to accept the linens and also a check from each club. The money will pay for construction of two more beds.
